Gavin Newsoms First Fox News Interview In 12 Years

Gavin Newsom's First Fox News Interview in 12 Years

Newsom and Hannity Discuss Homelessness and Businesses

Newsom's Interview Aired on Monday Night

In his first appearance on Fox News Channel since 2010, California Governor Gavin Newsom spoke with Fox News host Sean Hannity on Monday night. The one-hour interview covered a wide range of topics, including the homelessness crisis and businesses.

Newsom has been a frequent critic of Fox News, but he said he agreed to the interview because he wanted to reach a different audience. "I think it's important to have these conversations," Newsom said. "I think it's important to be able to have a dialogue with people who don't agree with you, and I think that's what democracy is all about."

Hannity, a conservative commentator, challenged Newsom on a number of issues, including the homelessness crisis in California. Newsom acknowledged that homelessness is a major problem in the state, but he said he believes it can be solved. "We're going to continue to do everything we can to address this issue," Newsom said.

Newsom also discussed the state's economy, and he said he is optimistic about the future. "California is a great state with a bright future," Newsom said. "We're going to continue to work hard to make sure that California remains the best place in the world to live, work, and raise a family."
