2024 USA Men's Olympic Basketball Team Player Pool Announced
LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and Joel Embiid Headline List of 41 Athletes
USA Basketball has announced a 41-athlete player pool for the 2024 USA Basketball Men's National Team. The players were selected by USA Basketball Men's National Team managing director Grant Hill and include some of the NBA's biggest stars.
The most notable names on the list are LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and reigning NBA Most Valuable Player Joel Embiid. These three players are all considered to be among the best in the world and would be a major part of any Olympic team.
Other notable players on the list include Anthony Davis, Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard, and James Harden. These players have all been part of previous USA Basketball teams and would be valuable additions to the 2024 team.
The 2024 Olympics will be held in Paris, France, and the USA Basketball Men's National Team will be looking to win its fourth consecutive gold medal. The team will be coached by Steve Kerr, who is also the head coach of the Golden State Warriors.
The player pool will be narrowed down to a final 12-man roster closer to the Olympics. The team will then begin training and preparing for the competition.
